so school was almost cancelled today. why? because they predicted 1 INCH of snow. this has to be some sort of joke. i know it. i know someone is around the corner waiting to yell, "JUST KIDDING! we really aren't pansies who can't drive during a light snowfall!"
instead school was delayed for 2 hours. is there any snow on the ground? nope. but just the possibility of it sent the people of north carolina into a frenzied state. here at the group home we are always in a frenzied state. but it's usually over something significant...say, carrot with a broomstick in his hand and a gleam in his eye. or fantasia screaming at the top of her lungs with snot running down her nose. those to me are worth the frenzied state. not the same as lovely little pieces of frozen water falling from the clouds. but what do i know? i'm just from utah.
ps-it is now two hours after i originally started this post. still have yet to see a flake. at first i thought i saw something, but it was just dandruff on einstein's shoulder. sigh.

Ha! delayed on the prospect of snow...maybe? Jake was trucking through a foot of snow to school just last week and no one said "maybe we'll have a snow day". But this is Utah. The only place more used to big snow would be Idaho and Wyoming where they take snowmobiles to school.
That is hilarious. If it were like that here, our whole lives would be delayed. It's snowing again today. i am already ready for spring. I want to take my stoller outside and go for a walk.
SO GLAD you got your frames okay and that you are happy with them! Thanks again for the order!
That's so rich. Maybe the meterologist also saw his dandruff?
ha ha seriously cracks me up. Has he tried head-n-shoulders maybe that would help. Buy oh wait, then he would have to shower...from what I hear only happens when he want to cuddle with that special someone!
HAHA! I really do enjoy our consistently pleasant 69 degree weather here.
lol...yeah, everything shuts down at the thought of snowfall in the east. i remember it all too well when we lived in DC. I was talking to Chad on the phone when he was driving and he said he'd call me back caue he didn't want to drive and talk on the phone during a snowstorm. HA!
Yup - the same thing happened in Connecticut when I lived out there. They don't call it a "snow day" out there - it's "afraid of the snow day". Seriously. It's snow, not lava! You can go outdoors!
speaking of snow
Jacksons bro was doing donuts in a church parking lot.
Some lady saw him doing it and ran out and blocked the exit with her body. He gunned it to the other exit with her chasing him across the parking lot in a foot of snow and a couple hours later a cop showed up on his door step and gave him a reckless driving ticket.
serves him right,,,,(he has a mullet)
Totally unrelated story, yep.
