so for anyone that didn't know i was pregnant it's because i'm not. however, the "stork" did deliver a package last night on our doorstep. the package is 10 years old and is our new client, we will call her fantasia. fantasia is the newest addition to our family & it's a little crazy that we now have a co-ed group home but we are trying to make the best of the situation.
i enrolled fantasia into elementary school this morning. it's weird that she is so young when the other two clients are in high school. so far she has been nice, calm and fairly easy. i guess we'll see what happens the first time she hears the word "no." the real reason i feel sympathy for her is the fact that this lucky lady gets to share a bathroom with carrot top & ernest. let's all say a little prayer for fantasia. three cheers for clorox sanitizing wipes! they will be her best friend, i am sure.

ok so can they have a co-ed group there? Plus she's so young. So here's a dumb one, because I really don't know the history of this group home thing, but what is it really for....I mean like is it for kids that are trouble makers, don't have parents, are homeless or what? See lynsey, you know I'm a little slow, so you will just have to explain it for me. And I don't know if I like the pretend name on "fantasia" because sometimes that what you have called me. so thanks a lot! Maybe we could call her Arial, or what color is her hair, maybe cinderella or something like that. Just think about it. =)

it's for trouble makers who sometimes do have parents that can no longer control them. it is also for troubled teens who don't have parents who are loony, they are turned over to the state & then do something to get kicked out of a foster home, they come here. yes we have had co-ed before, but it normally isn't the ideal situation. she is young & that is a little crazy but we'll try to make the best of it. but hey, i don't call you fantasia, i call you anastasia! i do like your suggestions for other names though. :) maybe the next girl can be ariel. but i call her that because that's who she reminds me of, fantasia from american idol.
oh excuse me, I got my disney characters mixed up. You are correct. Thanks for filling me in on the other info too. Hope fantasia turns out to be better than the boys!
