hunkerin' down

i don't know what it is the past few weeks but it just feels like everything is hitting at once.

luckily we've been given a few breaks to keep us from
snapping...but then the next day after the break, we are knocked down again.

so i haven't been blogging much because i'm afraid all of my
pessimistivity (yes that is a made up word) will seep through & i don't want it to. i do know the end is in sight, and we will hang in there. but that is all i feel like i'm doing...hanging (barely) ...or treading (water)...or surviving (insanity). but i want to be enjoying (our last few weeks)...laughing (at the crazy things these kids are doing)...and swimming (laps, even!). and what's worse, our boss told us that the next few weeks are going to be our hardest yet (thanks for the picker-upper, em!) the switch from school to summer, the attempt to pack up, the training new family teachers (i smile at the very thought of preparing them for what's ahead), the adjustment for the kids. so i am working on some major optimistivity, counting my blessings, and continually reading through the poem that we have hanging in the office. here's a leeeeetle inspirational video for any of you struggling with anything in your life.

don't quit!!
